MicroLink provides the hardware interface between Highway Addressable Remote Transducer devices (HART®) and a Windows® PC. Universal Serial Bus (USB) drivers make MicroLink compatible with most software developed for RS232 serial port interface modems. MicroLink appears as an RS232 Com port to your software. Unlike using a USB to serial converter with an RS232 modem — MicroLink and included software drivers take care of timing and handshake issues unique to the HART protocol. A rugged design makes MicroLink an ideal choice for field engineers and technicians who service HART devices in an industrial environment. MicroLink is compatible with all certified HART devices and all leading HART configuration and monitoring software that us an RS232 serial port for the interface - PACTware software is included free. MicroLink USB will appear in Windows as an RS232 COM port.

InLink-CC is a HART protocol modem that modulates logic level 1200 BAUD serial data to a HART loop, and demodulates received HART data providing a 1200 BAUD serial bit stream. It allows designers to easily implement a HART compliant modem without knowledge of the HART physical layer requirements. InLink-CC interfaces to standard 3.3V logic and only requires 3 control lines; transmit, receive, and request-to-send (RTS). The InLink small package size further simplifies integration into your design.
